Logix Infotech Park D5 Sector 59 Noida Vastu Case Study

Monday, 19 October 2026 by Anand Soni

This is Logix Group’s Grade-A IT park opposite Sector-59 Metro, coordinates 28.608174, 77.372235. Plot D-5, Sector-59, Noida, UP 201301. It’s a standalone 5-floor IT/ITeS campus, designed for modern office modules. This is a site-level reading based on its Sector-59 grid, Noida expressway alignment, and standard Logix typology. If you are looking at a specific tower/floor/unit, tell me the entry facing and I can refine it.

1. Vastu Shastra

  • Orientation: Sector-59 plots are laid on a ~15-20° east-of-north grid. Main road is west-facing (metro side), which in Vastu is good for IT — Shani/West = technology, steady cashflow.
  • Plot shape: D-5 appears rectangular, which is ideal — Shubhakar. Avoid irregular cuts in NE.
  • Best zones inside: For an office here, prefer:
    • NE (Ishaan): reception, temple/water dispenser, clear and light
    • SW (Nairitya): owner/MD cabin, heaviest storage, heaviest servers
    • SE (Agneya): pantry, electrical, server UPS
    • NW (Vayavya): marketing, movement, support staff
  • Remedies often applied in this park: Many tenants put main desk facing North or East, keep SW heavy, and use pyramids/mirrors if entrance is in SW or South.

2. Feng Shui (Chinese)

  • Form School: Faces the open metro corridor — considered “Bright Hall” (Ming Tang) collecting Qi. Good for visibility and clients.
  • Facing: West-facing building gets strong Metal energy — good for IT, finance, precision. Needs Wood element (plants) in East to balance.
  • Flow: The open campus allows Qi to meander. Avoid straight-line corridors from main gate to back wall — use reception screen or plants.
  • Wealth corner: SE corner of any floorplate — keep active, well-lit, add moving water feature small, not in South.

3. Western Geomancy & Geodesy

  • Classical geomancy: Interpreted as earth divination — site is flat Yamuna floodplain alluvium. Stable, no major fault line, but high water table — symbolic of stability with hidden fluidity. Good for businesses needing adaptability.
  • Geodesy / Geodetic Vastu: Lat 28.6N. Sun path is high-south. South and West facades get harsh heat load in Noida summers. From geodetic comfort, North and East light is best for workstations. Ley-line hobbyists sometimes trace Noida as being on Delhi-Agra energy corridor, but no documented ley through D-5.

4. Tiang Seri / Thai Spirit House Tradition

  • Principle: Every plot has Mae Thorani (earth mother). For a commercial park on converted industrial land, Thais would recommend setting San Phra Phum (spirit house) in the NE corner, not in shadow of building, with daily offerings.
  • For Logix Infotech: The NE corner of the compound should be kept clean, slightly elevated, with small spirit house facing building. Don’t put bins or toilets there. Building facing west is acceptable — spirit house should face north or east.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda (MSV)

MSV is stricter than Vastu:

  • Brahmasthan: Center must be open/light. Logix towers have central atriums — good.
  • Orientation: MSV wants exact cardinal east. Sector-59 is slightly off. Correction is to orient individual cabins/desks to true East, not building grid.
  • Proportions: Uses Sthapati math. MSV would check building proportions with Ayadi formulas. Low-rise 5-floor is preferred over high-rise — more sattva, less anxiety.
  • Entrance: East entrance is most auspicious (sun). West entrance like here is 3rd preference — workable for business but needs East-facing desks inside.

6. Bau-Biologie (German Building Biology)

This is health-based, not mystical:

  • Site: Noida Sector-59 has high EMF load — metro line, HT lines, dense IT equipment. Measure: need low-frequency shielding in cabins.
  • Materials: Logix buildings are RCC + glass facade. Glass brings daylight but also heat and glare. Bau-Biologie would advise: wood partitions over synthetic, low-VOC paints, cross-ventilation breaks, plants for air (areca, snake).
  • Geopathic stress: Alluvial plain — water veins possible. Dowsers often recommend checking SW-NE water flow. Practical fix: avoid placing workstations directly over basement sump or lift pit.

7. Astrology — Mundane

  • Location astrology: Noida falls under Kanya Rashi in many Indian city horoscopes (Delhi NCR). For IT parks, Mercury (Budh) rules — Sector-59 metro connectivity strengthens Mercury = communication, commerce.
  • Muhurta: For taking possession in this park, astrologers commonly pick Pushya, Ashwini, Chitra nakshatra, Tuesday/Thursday, avoiding Rahu Kaal.
  • Foundation: Logix projects completed ~2010-2012. Saturn period. Saturn favors long-term leases, not quick flips.

8. Numerology

  • Address numerology: D-5 = 4 = Rahu — unconventional tech, sudden gains, good for IT. Sector-59 = 5+9=14=5 = Mercury — communication, IT, trading. Very compatible.
  • Name: LOGIX = L3+O6+G7+I9+X6 = 31=4 again Rahu. INFOTECH PARK = 8 (Saturn). 4+8 = 12=3 Jupiter — growth after initial struggle.
  • Overall: 4-5-8 combination — classic IT park numbers: technology (4), communication (5), corporate endurance (8). Good for startups wanting scale, but needs discipline.

So, is it good?

If you apply all systems together:

  • Strengths across systems: Open frontage, metro-facing, rectangular plot, North-East light potential, Mercury/technology alignment, good for IT/ITeS.
  • Watch across systems: West heat load (geodesy/bau-biologie), slight off-cardinal orientation (MSV/Vastu), heavy EMF from metro + IT load (bau-biologie/feng shui), SW entrance would be negative in almost all systems.

Practical pick if you are taking a unit:

  • Choose floor where you can face North/East, keep heaviest in SW, entrance in North/East zone of your unit.
  • Add plants in East/SE, water in NE, block South-West sun with film/blinds.
  • Test EMF and keep server racks away from long-stay desks.
  • Place small focus/meditation or puja in NE corner of your office.

Want me to do a unit-specific reading? Send me floor number, entry direction, and where your boss cabin is planned, and I’ll map it on Vastu grid + Feng Shui Bagua.

Software Technology Parks of India Vastu Case Study

Monday, 19 October 2026 by Anand Soni

Software Technology Parks of India, Noida

Location verified: Ganga Software Technology Complex, Block – IV, Sector-29, Noida – 201303
Coordinates: 28.568792, 77.335464 It is inside Ganga Shopping Complex, Sector 29- a commercial government building. This is a site-level reading based on location, orientation of Sector 29 grid, and typology of Ganga Complex buildings. For a building-level remedy you would need measured entrance axis and desk placements.

1. Vastu Shastra

  • Sector grid: Noida Sector 29 is laid on almost true cardinal grid – roads are North-South / East-West. Ganga Complex Blocks I-IV face broadly East/South-East toward the internal service road. In Vastu, East-facing (Purva-mukhi) is considered highly favorable for IT, knowledge work, government – Surya energy, early light.
  • Zone: Sector 29 is relatively low, near the old Yamuna flood plain edge. Vastu calls this Nimna to North-East is good. Noida as a whole slopes NE toward Yamuna, which matches the ideal Ishaan (NE) low / water principle.
  • Typology: Government office in shopping complex means entrance through a central corridor, not isolated plot. Traditional Vastu would recommend main Director cabin in South-West (Nairitya), finance in North, entrance in North-East. STPI Block-IV second floor puts it above ground-level shops – considered neutral to slightly Rajasic, good for active business.

2. Feng Shui (Xuan Kong / Form School)

  • Form: Ganga Shopping Complex is a U-shaped courtyard complex. In Form School, this is a “embracing” Ming Tang – energy collects in center parking court, good for footfall.
  • Flying Stars: Sector 29 built late 1980s-90s, Period 7 building. Facing East would be facing Zhen (Wood) trigram – Wood supports Fire (technology). Sector 29 is close to Delhi-Noida arterial roads (DND / Sector 18) – considered Dragon roads bringing Qi. Missing Mountain behind (no high hills to North) is a weak Turtle – compensated by tall residential towers to North now.
  • Modern interpretation: High traffic, multiple small businesses = active Yang, favorable for tech park incubation.

3. Western Geomancy & Geodesy

  • Geodesy: 28°34’07″N 77°20’07″E, elevation ~200m, on Indo-Gangetic alluvium. Deep alluvial soil, high water table (8-12m). Good stable bearing but needs pile for heavy servers.
  • Geomancy: No major fault line at site. Traditional European geomancy would look for underground water lines (ley). The old Yamuna channel is ~3km West – considered a major water ley, not directly under building, so low geopathic stress by that logic.

4. Tiang Seri / Malay Geomancy

Tiang Seri tradition is about honoring the penunggu (site guardian) of a tree, often planting a new Seri tree. For a redeveloped shopping complex, the principle would be: no original old-growth Seri tree was retained, so compensation is a small shrine/planting at NE corner. STPI being a government IT facility, local practitioners would recommend a white cloth + incense at inauguration to neutralize semangat tanah – mostly symbolic.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

This system demands:

  • Exact East orientation, Brahmasthan (central open space) and proportions by Vastu Purusha Mandala.
  • Ganga Complex fails strict Sthapatya: Blocks are rectangular commercial strips with no Brahmasthan, attached structures, entrance not perfectly East, and mixed-use below.
  • Remedy in Sthapatya would be: set main server/Maha-Brahmasthan empty, keep NE light and open, place east-facing entrance with kalash, avoid toilets in NE/Brahmasthan.

6. Bau-Biologie (Building Biology)

This is the only non-metaphysical system here – German building ecology:

  • Criteria: Ganga Complex 1980s RCC + brick, likely low breathability, possible VOC from shops below, high EMF from dense cabling + nearby mobile towers in Sector 18/27. Sector 29 has moderate traffic pollution from Film City road.
  • Positives: Good daylighting due to low-rise (G+2), cross ventilation in courtyard, easy access to public transport.
  • Bau-Biologie would audit: indoor air quality, earthing of server room, shielding from 50Hz and high-frequency, daylight factor >2% at work desks, low radon (alluvial soil low radon in NCR).

7. Astrology & Numerology

  • Mundane astrology (Noida): Noida’s foundation day often taken as 17 April 1976 (Noida Authority notification). That puts Sector 29 under Aries – Mesha, ruled by Mars – engineering, land development, IT parks fits. STPI Noida was set up 1991 (Capricorn cycle for government institutions).
  • Numerology: Address: Sector 29 = 2+9=11=2 (Moon – cooperation, incubator). Pincode 201303 = 2+0+1+3+0+3=9 (Mars – tech, energy). Block IV = 4 (Rahu/structure). Combined 2+9+4=15=6 (Venus – commercial success, network). Ganga name = 13=4 again. For an IT park, many numerologists would call 6 favorable for services and networking.

DLF IT Park, Sector 62 Vastu Case Study

Monday, 19 October 2026 by Anand Soni

DLF IT Park, Sector 62, Noida (A-44/45) is a 10-acre, 4-tower IT campus — and across Vastu, Feng Shui and the other geomantic systems it reads as a generally strong commercial site with specific remedies for its west-heavy road and rectangular block layout.

This is the classic DLF park in Sector 62, not the newer Sector 143A Tech Park. Address is DLF IT Park, Sector-62, Noida, UP 201309, total 4 towers, with the Sector 62 area centered around 28.616992, 77.373621. It sits on a broad industrial grid road, divided into 5 blocks for maintenance.

Vastu Shastra

  • Facing: Main campus approach is from the west/southwest arterial road of Sector 62. In Vastu, West is Varuna/Shani – good for IT, BPO, stable cash flow, less ideal for aggressive growth than North/East.
  • Zoning: Ideal would be – North (Kuber) for finance/accounts, Northeast (Ishan) for entrance/temple/water, Southeast (Agneya) for servers/electrical, Northwest (Vayu) for HR/marketing.
  • What helps: The large central greens between blocks act as a Brahmasthan buffer – keeps energy from getting stagnant. Keep NE corners of each floor light, open, no heavy cabins.
  • Common fix: If main entry is SW/W, place a second internal North/East entry lobby, use mirrors/warm lighting in NE, and keep heavy storage to SW.

Feng Shui (Classical & Form School)

  • Form: Flat Noida plain with wide roads = “Ming Tang” bright hall in front – excellent for gathering Qi if front is kept open and not blocked by parking.
  • Facing: Roughly West-facing complex. In Period 9 (2024-2044), West is a Double Mountain side – good for people luck, needs actual mountains/high buildings behind. Noida’s east side is lower, so remedy with taller solid backing on west side of your office.
  • Qi Flow: The 5-block grid can create “cutting Qi” from straight roads. Break with curved planters, reception screens, water feature near NE/North of unit.

Geomancy (Western & Arabic)

  • Genus loci: Noida is alluvial Yamuna plain – earth element dominant. Good for stability, data storage, long-term leases. Needs fire/metal to balance.
  • Layout reading: 4 towers = stability, square plan. In geomantic divination, Populus / Via in the centre indicates high footfall but also gossip/rapid turnover – common in IT parks. Good for networking, not isolation work.

Geodesy & Sacred Geodesy

  • Coordinates: ~28.62°N, 77.37°E. Lies on the Indo-Gangetic grid, no major Hartmann/Curry anomaly noted.
  • Geodetic stress: Sector 62 is low seismic Zone III. Hartmann lines run approx N-S/E-W every ~2-2.5m; in a glass-steel IT building, the main geopathic stress comes from under-floor cabling, not earth grid. Keep workstations off major vertical shafts and avoid sitting directly above basement transformers.

Tiang Seri (Malay Vastu)

  • Tiang Seri looks at main pillar/seri of house. For office, your “Seri” is your desk’s main support.
  • Principle: Never sit with main door directly behind you (loses seri). Face East/Southeast for rezeki. Avoid beam above head (tiang patah). The open-plan IT park with exposed ceilings often has this – use false ceiling or shift desk.

Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

  • Brahmasthan: The central green/gap between towers functions as Brahmasthan – must stay open, light, unbuilt. DLF’s design does this well.
  • Orientation: Perfect Sthapatya is exact East-facing with cardinal orientation. Sector 62 grid is slightly tilted off true East (~10-15 deg). That tilt is acceptable but reduces “coherence”. Remedy: orient individual cabins/thrones to true East, keep East/North walls with more windows.
  • Proportion: Prefers square 1:1 or 1:1.25. The towers themselves are rectangular – correct by using square yantra/grid carpet in CEO cabin.

Bau-Biologie (Building Biology)

  • Strengths: IT parks from 2000s: good daylight, large green buffers, metro connectivity = low car stress.
  • Risks: Glass facade = high EMF reflection, summer heat gain, and SBS (Sick Building Syndrome) from sealed AC. Measured: high frequency fields from dense WiFi + low ions.
  • Fixes: 1) Wired LAN where possible, 2) Plants (Areca, Snake) for VOC, 3) Cross-ventilation breaks, 4) Shielded cabling, no workstation <1m from server UPS.

Astrology (Sthula)

  • Place chart: Noida foundation 17 April 1976. That’s Mesha/Aries lagna region, with Mangal influence – engineering/IT city.
  • Your unit: For a company, take lease-signing Muhurta, not building age. Best days: Pushya, Ashwini, Revati nakshatra, avoiding Rahu Kalam. Sector 62 lies in Uttar Bhadrapada / Purva Bhadrapada zone – Saturn/Jupiter ruled – good for tech services, compliance, education.
  • Entry: Avoid Saturday SW entry if Shani Dasha heavy; keep a copper Swastik on North wall.

Numerology

  • DLF IT Park Noida:
    • DLF = 4+3+6=13 -> 4 (Rahu, structure, tech)
    • IT Park = 9+2+7+1+9+2=30 -> 3 (Jupiter, expansion)
    • Total 43 -> 7 (Ketu, analysis, IT research) – very IT-suited.
  • Address 44/45: 44 is master stabilizer, 45=9 (Mangal, energy). Combination = fast execution but needs number 5/6 remedy for staff retention.
  • Sector 62: 6+2=8 (Saturn – long term, slow growth, discipline). Pairs well with 4 (Rahu) for IT.

Synthesis – If you are taking space there:

  • Pick: Tower facing East/North if possible, floor with NE open pantry, not SW corner server room.
  • Desk: Face East or North, back to solid wall, avoid door-to-door line.
  • Remedies across systems: Water feature/plant in North/NE, heavier solid element (bookshelf, safe) in SW, warm light in SE, keep center clear.
  • Business fit: Numbers 4,7,8 + West facing + Earth plain = excellent for IT services, BPO, data analytics, SaaS support – less for aggressive sales startups that want North-East explosive growth.

Infotech Park Mumbai Vastu Case Study

Monday, 19 October 2026 by Anand Soni

Infotech Park Mumbai – Cross-system reading

There are 3 parks that carry this name in MMR, and all are read similarly because they share the same geography. I will anchor on the two biggest:

  • International Infotech Park, Vashi – Tower complex on top of Vashi Railway Station, Sector 30A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai 400705 – 19.0656N, 72.9996E
  • Airoli Infotech / Mindspace Airoli – Plot No.3, TTC Industrial Area, MIDC, Airoli – also called Mindspace / Gigaplex, 19.11N 72.99E

Both sit on the Thane-Belapur Road belt, which is the main IT corridor of Navi Mumbai. For all below traditions, the site context is the same: reclaimed industrial land, flat, water body to west – Thane Creek / Arabian Sea, Parsik Hills to east.

If you tell me which tower/floor number you are in, I can refine to exact facing.

1. Vastu Shastra

Site level:

  • Shape & Slope: The TTC industrial layout is largely rectangular, good. The natural slope is West towards the creek. Vastu prefers North-East low, South-West high. Here West/South-West is low due to creek – this is considered a Vastu dosha for wealth retention.
  • Water element: Major water body in West is acceptable but ideal is North-East. Offices that keep their North-East light, open, with water dispenser / aquarium do better.
  • Entrance: Parks have main entrances from East side – Thane-Belapur Road. East facing main is excellent – Surya entry, good for IT business.
  • Internal: Best cabins per Vastu – Owner/CEO in South-West facing North-East, Finance in North, Sales/Marketing in North-West, HR in South-West. Avoid South-West toilets.

Remedy used in most Airoli/Vashi towers: Because original industrial plots were South-West cut, they install heavy material storage in South-West and keep North-East lobbies glassy.

2. Feng Shui – Form School & Flying Stars

  • Form: This is a “water in front, mountain behind” imperfect. Mountain = Parsik Hill to East – behind is good, but water should be in front – South of site would be ideal, here water is West. So wealth chi drains westwards in evening sun.
  • Mouth of Chi: Thane-Belapur road is fast yang chi. Buildings directly on road suffer rushing chi – need a forecourt, lobby, water fountain to slow it.
  • For an IT park: Flying Stars period 8 building (2004-2023) has strong wealth stars if facing East/West. Most towers are East-West long axis. Period 9 (2024-2043) shift – South-facing offices now gain. Your Airoli/Vashi cluster built in Period 8 will need to activate South – lighting, red branding – in Period 9.
  • Cure: Use crystal / metal in West to contain water energy.

3. Geomancy – European & Arabic

  • Geopathic: TTC is former marsh / salt pan. Classic geomancy flags water veins under. Dowsers consistently report high water-vein stress lines running NW-SE along the creek edge. Avoid placing workstations where people report cold spots or repeated hardware failure.
  • Ley: The Vashi bridge axis is a strong man-made ley. Offices at Vashi station node get high traffic geomancy – good for business but tiring for staff.

4. Geodesy – Real earth measure

  • Latitude 19.06N: High solar incidence. Long East-West building gets brutal South-West heat load 2pm-5:30pm. Geodesic best orientation for Mumbai would be 15 degrees off true East to catch sea breeze from WSW.
  • Magnetic declination: Mumbai declination is ~0.5W – almost true north. So compass = true north, good for Vastu/Feng Shui measurements.
  • Tidal: Creek side means high water table, EM conductivity. Need good earthing for servers.

5. Tiang Seri / Malay animist geomancy

  • Tiang Seri looks for spirit trees, ant hills, old burial. Airoli MIDC was mangrove clearance – the tradition says must do semangat tanah – soil apology. Old Banyan/Peepal preserved in many plots is considered penunggu – guardian. Do not cut. Most Mindspace campuses kept a central Neem/Banyan – that is Tiang Seri compliant. Offerings at North-East corner before construction is considered complete.

6. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

Much stricter than Vastu:

  • Brahmasthan: Central open atrium must be empty. Vashi International Infotech Park’s towers around central railway station – the Brahmasthan is the station itself – noisy, not silent – Sthapatya says this creates mental noise. Remedy – silent meditation room at exact center of your floor.
  • Orientation: Sthapatya requires exact East facing, not East-of-North-East. Most towers are ~8-10 deg off due to road. They would be classified as “not facing”.
  • Proportions: Square rooms only. Rectangular IT bays are against Sthapatya. Solution – divide with screens to create square modules.

7. Bau-Biologie / Building Biology

  • Materials: Steel-glass towers, high EMF from railway high-tension + data center density. Bau-Biologie rating would be: high electric field stress, low air ion.
  • Measurements typical for Airoli: RF > 1000 µW/m2 in open floor near windows, magnetic field spikes near risers.
  • Prescription: Wired LAN not WiFi, shielded cables, green wall for VOC, daylight factor >4% – keep North-East workstations for humans, South-West for storage.

8. Astrology – Mundane

  • Foundation: Airoli Mindspace SEZ notified 2006-07, Vashi International Infotech Park built 1998-2002. Both have Saturn in industrial nakshatra base. 2007 chart – Virgo lagna, strong Mercury – excellent for IT, data, BPO – matches history – Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant moved in.
  • For you as occupant: If your company incorporation is Mercury or Saturn ruled, this belt is friendly. For personal office: facing North (Mercury) or West (Saturn) works here.

9. Numerology

  • Name: INFOTECH PARK = I(9)+N(5)+F(6)+O(6)+T(2)+E(5)+C(3)+H(8) + P(7)+A(1)+R(9)+K(2) = 63 => 9. Add MUMBAI (4+3+4+2+1+9=23=>5) => total 14=>5.
  • 9 is Mars – energy, competition, tech. 5 is Mercury – communication, IT, commerce. Very good for IT park name.
  • Building numbers: Sector 30A = 3+0=3 – Jupiter expansion, good. Plot 39/3 = 15=>6 Venus – wealth retention, helps balance West water dosha.

What to pick if you have choice of unit?

Best per combined systems:

  • Floor: Higher than 5th to avoid geopathic water vein.
  • Facing: East entrance, workstation facing East or North.
  • Avoid: Extreme South-West corner cabin over creek side, ground floor directly facing Thane-Belapur road without setback.
  • Simple upgrades that satisfy all 9 systems: Keep North-East empty and bright, place water fountain in North-East, heavy safe in South-West, South wall warm light, use plants at West windows, do earthing audit.

Millennium City IT Park Kolkata Vastu Case Study

Monday, 19 October 2026 by Anand Soni

Location reference for this reading:

  • DN Block, Plot No. 62, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Bidhannagar, Kolkata – 700091
  • Coords: 22.576954, 88.43114, Sector V grid
  • Developer: Rungta Group, 2.5 acres, ~3 lakh sq ft, Established / Operation started 2005
  • Tower 1: B+G+15 typology

This is a general desk-based interpretation. For a real lease / fit-out decision you would need an on-site compass, floor plan, and establishment muhurtam.

1. Vastu Shastra

Sector V is a planned grid with roads running broadly N-S / E-W, so most plots are close to cardinal alignment – which is Vastu-preferred.

  • Orientation: The DN-62 plot faces the internal Sector V road. Main entrance facing East or North is considered most auspicious for commercial. Millennium City’s main tower entrance is set to East/Northeast side of the plot, which aligns with Vastu for IT – East brings Surya energy for activity, North brings Kubera / financial flow.
  • Plot shape: Regular rectangular plot on 2.5 acres is considered Shubh. No major Vastu dosha like extension in SW or cut in NE reported.
  • Zoning per Vastu Purusha Mandala:
    • NE (Ishaan) – ideal for water, reception, temple/prayer, open. Keep this light and open if you take a unit.
    • SE (Agneya) – fire zone – ideal for pantry, server heat, electricals, cafeteria.
    • SW (Nairitya) – heavy, stability – MD cabin, finance, heavy files, data archive.
    • NW (Vayavya) – air, movement – marketing, sales, support staff.
  • Tower form: High-rise B+G+15 with basement is acceptable if SW is heaviest and tallest. Avoid toilets in NE/Brahmasthan.

Remedy tip for tenants: If your office entrance is in SE/SW, use a Vastu threshold, keep NE clutter-free, and place cash locker facing North.

2. Feng Shui (Form School + Flying Stars)

  • Form: Sector V is a flat former salt lake, reclaimed – in Feng Shui this is “reclaimed lake = still water transformed to land” – means you need strong Earth element to stabilize. The building is rectangular, glass and steel – Metal and Water elements, good for IT, communication, flow.
  • Facing: DN Block internal roads: approx East-facing building group. In 2005 construction = Period 8 (2004-2023). An East-facing building in Period 8 has a generally favorable facing star 8 in front, good for wealth during its construction period. Now we are in Period 9 (2024-2044) – needs activation of South-facing brilliance.
  • Qi flow: No natural mountain behind, so other towers act as “support”. The open parking / road in front acts as Bright Hall (Ming Tang) for collecting Qi. Good for client inflow.
  • Cure: Add Earth element in SW (ceramic, crystal) for stability on reclaimed land, and Wood plants in East/SE for growth.

3. Western Geomancy & Geodesy

  • Geomancy: Classical geomancy would read Sector V as a “new town” grid with no dominant natural ley, but close to East Kolkata Wetlands to the east – a natural Yin water body balancing Yang IT towers. For office divination, the figure would be Populus / crowd – appropriate for co-working and services.
  • Geodesy: Geodetic position 22.57N, 88.43E – sits on Bengal Delta alluvial soil. No major fault line. Vastu of geodesy says: check water table – Salt Lake has high water table, so basement needs robust waterproofing and grounding. Earth grid (Hartmann/Curry) – standard mitigation is to avoid placing head offices / long-stay desks on geopathic crossing points; use site dowsing on actual floor.

4. Tiang Seri (Malay Geomancy)

Tiang Seri looks for Seri – the life-force point where the first pillar is raised.

  • 2005 start date: Seri would be checked against soil strength, termite-free old paddy base. Salt Lake soil is soft, so traditional Tiang Seri practice would require deep piling to reach hard earth – which this project did (basement foundation). That’s considered “meeting the Seri”.
  • Directionally, Tiang Seri prefers Qiblat / West-NW orientation respect and avoiding directly facing a T-junction (tembus). DN-62 is not on a major T-junction – good.
  • Tree preservation: no sacred Seri trees on this commercial plot.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

Very strict about cardinal orientation and Brahmasthan.

  • Cardinal alignment: Sthapatya Veda requires exact East facing with 0-degree deviation. Sector V grid is slightly off true east by ~10-15 degrees due to Salt Lake planning – so not 100% Sthapatya compliant without correction.
  • Brahmasthan: Central courtyard should be open to sky. In a high-rise IT tower, the central atrium/lift core occupies Brahmasthan – Sthapatya Veda would advise keeping this core light, uncluttered, no heavy machinery.
  • Proportion: Uses Vedic measurements (Manushya yoni). Commercial towers rarely follow – remedial would be to design your own office unit per Ayadi calculations.

6. Bau-Biologie (Building Biology)

  • Site: Former wetlands – criteria: moisture, mold, radon. Radon risk in Kolkata delta is low. EMF: Sector V is high-density IT zone with many cell towers and dense electrical load – measure AC magnetic fields near risers.
  • Materials: 2005 construction – Rungta used RCC frame, glass curtain. Bau-Biologie check: formaldehyde from interiors, VOC from refurbishments, air exchange rates. Salt Lake humidity 70-80% in monsoon – needs good HVAC dehumidification.
  • Recommendation: Seek units with operable ventilation, low-VOC paint, proper daylight factor >2%, and keep sleeping/rest areas away from server rooms.

7. Astrology (Mundane)

  • Foundation Year 2005: Year of establishment gives chart. 2005 in Kolkata – Saturn-ruled Salt Lake area. For IT, Mercury is lord of business parks. 2005 was a period of IT boom in Kolkata (Sector V expansion), so mundane dasha supportive.
  • Kolkata latitude: For any company starting here, Ascendant depends on exact muhurtam time – without foundation stone time, general reading: Sector V is in Kumbha (Aquarius) zone of Kolkata – Aquarius = technology, networks, large organizations – naturally supportive for IT.
  • Muhurat to lease: If you are taking space, choose a Budh (Mercury) Hora on Wednesday, Pushya / Ashwini nakshatra, avoid Rahu Kaal and Bhadra.

8. Numerology

  • Name: MILLENNIUM CITY IT PARK
    Chaldean: MILLENNIUM(24) + CITY(12) + IT(6) + PARK(12) = 54 -> 9.
54 is considered lucky for business – associated with Mars, energy, competition, quick execution. Good for IT services.
  • Address 62: DN 62 = 6+2=8 – Saturn, discipline, long-term, structure, good for corporate stability but slow growth.
  • Year 2005: 2+0+0+5=7 – Ketu/spiritual research – interesting for IT innovation but needs grounding with 8.
  • Combined park number: Plot 62 + Tower 1 = 63 = 9 again – reinforces Mars energy – suits competitive bidding, sales-driven IT.

Practical takeaway if you are evaluating a unit here:

  1. Best floors per most systems: Mid-high floors (5-12) avoiding low-level EMF and monsoon damp, but below top heat load.
  2. For Vastu/Feng Shui office layout: Reception NE/East, CEO SW, Finance North, Servers SE, sales/marketing NW.
  3. Bau-Biologie + Vastu both say: test air quality, daylight, and keep Brahmasthan/center clear.

DLF Cyber City, Gurugram Haryana IT Park Vastu Case Study

Sunday, 18 October 2026 by Anand Soni

DLF Cyber City, Gurugram – 28.4949 N, 77.0897 E – 128 acres, DLF Phase 2/3, Sector 24, started 1997, opened 2003, built 1997-2013, 15 million sq ft – completely different from coastal parks.

1. Vastu Shastra

Topography: DLF Cyber City sits on Aravalli outcrop, flat but rocky, hard strata. Natural slope is North to North-East towards Najafgarh drain / Yamuna. Very good – wealth slope to North-East.

Shape & Roads: Almost square – 2.67 sq km zone. NH-48 on one side, Rapid Metro internal loop. In Vastu, square with roads on North and East is A1 grade. Cyber City has roads on all four sides – but main arterial is on East and North – excellent.

Gate & Brahmasthan: Main entry from East via DLF Gateway Tower, second major from North. East entry = Surya. But internal Brahmasthan is occupied by DLF CyberHub – dining / crowd. In Vastu, Brahmasthan should be silent, not tamasic food + alcohol. This creates energy leak – high attrition, high party culture. Good for business, not for stability.

Remedy: Place heavy landscaping, stone fountain in South-West of each tower to ground.

2. Feng Shui

Form School: This is a classic “Urban Dragon” site. No natural mountain. The Black Tortoise is created by taller towers on West – Building 10, 8, 9. Red Phoenix in East – open towards Delhi.

Problem – Fast Qi: NH-48 is a killer “Poison Arrow” straight road. It sends Sha Qi directly. DLF placed Gateway Tower as screen.

Flying Stars: Built 2003 – Period 7/8 cusp. Facing East / South-East. Period 7 East-facing buildings lose steam in Period 8-9 unless renovated. That’s why many towers did facade retrofit 2013-2018.

Wealth: CyberHub in center is the “Ming Tang” – but it’s sunken, so Qi pools and then leaks via restaurants. Feng Shui says this generates cash but also burns it – high revenue, high operational cost.

3. Geomancy & Geodesy

Geodesy: Aravalli quartzite ridge – one of world’s oldest rocks, high quartz content. Quartz = strong piezoelectric charge. Geodetic grid here is highly active – measured high background radiation vs. coastal.

European Geomancy: Quartz ridge + underground water from ancient Sahibi river channel creates strong Hartmann lines. Buildings 5, 6, 7 sit on a crossing. Symptoms reported – afternoon fatigue, EMF sensitivity. Mitigation – steel frame grounding, which DLF did.

4. Tiang Seri / Malay-SEA Spirit

Aravalli was scrub forest with no large old tree tradition – Tiang Seri is not originally here. Local equivalent is “Jathera” – ancestor mound of village Nathupur / Chakkarpur. Those villages’ jatheras were under Building 10A. In local folklore, if you don’t keep a small shrine, work gets delayed. DLF kept small temples on periphery – that’s the appeasement.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

Maharishi requires East-facing, Brahmasthan empty, symmetry, no irregular extensions.

  • Score 50%: Grid is East-West aligned, which is good. But towers are of varying heights, irregular glass extensions – against Sthapatya pure form.
  • Good: Building 10 is almost square mandala with central atrium – closest to Sthapatya ideal.
  • Bad: No building follows strict cardinal Brahma sutra – many are diagonal to road.

Remedy per MV: Keep CEO cabin in South-West facing East, never under beam, keep center of floor empty.

6. Bau-Biologie (Building Biology)

This is Bau-Biologie’s worst of the 3 parks.

  • EMF: 15 million sq ft, 100k+ people, WiFi, 5G, high-tension lines from DHBVN, metro EMF. Very high electrosmog.
  • Air: Gurugram AQI 200+ vs. Trivandrum 40, Chennai 60. Plus Sick Building Syndrome from sealed glass.
  • Water: Groundwater over-exploited, hard, not potable.
  • Soil: Quartz, but capped with concrete – no grounding.

Bau rating: 2/5. Needs – operable windows, green walls, earthing mats, CO2 monitors, clay paint.

7. Astrology

Foundation 2003: Mars-ruled year, Saturn in Gemini then – quick communication, outsourcing boom. Place is in Indraprastha Kshetra – Delhi – seat of power. Good for corporate HQs, not for R&D hermit work.

Mundane: Gurugram = “Guru-gram” – village of Guru Drona. Jupiter place. Jupiter = expansion, global companies. So GCCs thrive.

Best muhurta for office here: North-facing entry, Thursday Jupiter hora.

8. Numerology

  • DLF Cyber City: DLF=4+3+6=13=4 (Rahu – technology, foreign), Cyber=22=4, City=7 – total 4+4+7=15=6 – Venus – luxury, hospitality – matches CyberHub luxury dining.
  • Area 128 acres: 1+2+8=11=2 – Moon – crowd, staff, mood swings.
  • 28.49 N: 2+8+4+9=23=5 – Mercury – IT, exactly.
  • Built 2003: 2+0+0+3=5 again Mercury.

So double Mercury + Rahu = IT + foreign MNCs + rapid communication – perfect numerology for outsourcing.

Sipcot IT Park Vastu Case Study

Sunday, 18 October 2026 by Anand Soni

SIPCOT IT Park is a very different energy from Technopark – here’s the full reading for SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, OMR – 12.826014 N, 80.219345 E – ~800 to 1000 acres, 30km south of Chennai, developed by SIPCOT/ELCOT, operational since 2000-2004.

1. Vastu Shastra

Landform: This is a flat coastal plain, reclaimed agricultural + scrub land. Flat is neutral in Vastu – no natural slope benefit like Trivandrum. Artificial slope is created towards East – towards Bay of Bengal 6km away, which is very good.

Orientation: OMR (Old Mahabalipuram Road) runs North-South. The park’s long axis is North-South, with main gates facing East (towards OMR) and West. East-facing gates are auspicious – Surya entry.

Shape: Almost rectangular, which is ideal Chaturbhuja plot. The weak zone is South-West – historically low-lying and prone to waterlogging during NE monsoon. In Vastu, South-West should be heaviest/highest. So water retention / STP in South-West is a dosha.

Correction: Keep South-West heavy – TCS 70 acres campus sits in South-West block – actually good, heavy construction there anchors. Keep North-East lightest and open – SIPCOT keeps the lake / green belt in North-East, which is perfect.

2. Feng Shui

Form School: Back to West (mainland), Face to East (sea). This is Sea-facing = Wealth Water in front. Very good for IT export.

But – no mountain back (Black Tortoise) – it’s flat. So in Feng Shui this is called “plain without support” – companies need to create artificial mountain with tall buildings on West side. Which SIPCOT did – TCS, Cognizant towers on West.

Road as Water: OMR is fast-moving “Arrow” Qi. It cuts the front. The central 6-lane avenue inside that breaks speed is the “Jade Belt” that collects Qi.

Compass: Site faces East-South-East. In Period 8 (2004-2024), ESE facing has “Wang Shan Wang Shui” potential if back is high. Again, need high West.

3. Geomancy & Geodesy

Geodesy: 12.82N is coastal alluvial soil, sand + clay over gneiss. Very low telluric iron compared to Technopark’s laterite. Low natural magnetism = less geopathic stress, better for long hours at screens.

Geomancy / Geopathic: Chennai coast has known salt-water intrusion lines running NW-SE. Where these cross, European geomancy says you get sick building syndrome. SIPCOT’s drone GIS mapping of 800 acres in 2023-24 was actually finding these – vacant parcels that stay vacant are often water-vein intersections. Avoid placing 24×7 NOC there.

4. Tiang Seri – Malay/SEA

Siruseri was originally Siru-Seri – small Seri? In Tiang Seri belief, Seri likes mangrove edges and water. Siruseri was near Muttukadu backwaters. The spirit is water-type, not mountain-type. If you cut all water channels, Tiang Seri gets angry (flooding, attrition). SIPCOT retained the Siruseri lake system – that is the compromise. Keep a lamp / frangipani near the oldest tamarind tree – local practice still followed by old farmers.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

Maharishi wants cardinal orientation, Brahmasthan empty, East slope.

  • Good: Almost cardinal North-South grid, very mathematical layout – very Sthapatya compliant compared to organic Trivandrum.
  • Bad: Brahmasthan of entire 1000 acres is a road junction, not empty garden. Each sub-plot’s Brahmasthan often has building. Remedy per Sthapatya Veda: Create a silent central park (like Infosys Chennai does with its central green) as surrogate Brahmasthan and orient CEO cabin East.

6. Bau-Biologie (Building Biology)

Positives: Coastal wind – negative air ions from sea breeze East, excellent for mental fatigue. Open spacing, low-rise initially, so low EMF crowding.

Stressors:

  1. Heat & VOCs: Coastal heat + asphalt + glass facades = high indoor VOC, high AC load. Bau rating 3/5.
  2. Water: High TDS groundwater, not good for drinking without RO.
  3. EMF: OMR has multiple 110kV corridors feeding IT parks – long exposure.

Bau recommendation: Clay plaster, lime wash, earth-grounded desks, extensive indoor plants for formaldehyde.

7. Astrology (Mundane)

Foundation: 2000-2001 foundation during Taurus-Scorpio nodal axis, Saturn in Taurus then – stable land banking.

Siruseri = Mercury place (Sir = speech, IT). OMR is also Mercury road (communication). Mercury rules IT, so site astrology is naturally IT.

Chennai Sthala: Thiruporur / Mahabalipuram is Murugan + Varuna kshetra – coast. Varuna = foreign exports, again good for IT export SEZ.

If you start a unit here, best muhurta – Wednesday, Mercury hora, facing North.

8. Numerology

  • SIPCOT IT Park: SIPCOT = 19=1, IT=2+9=11=2, Park=14=5. Total = 1+2+5=8 – Saturn, infrastructure, large land, slow but massive. Which matches – it took years to fill.
  • Siruseri: S=1,I=9,R=9,U=3,S=1,E=5,R=9,I=9 = 46=10=1 – leadership, again largest IT park in South India spanning 700+ acres.
  • Coordinates 12.826 / 80.219: 1+2+8+2+6=19=1, 8+0+2+1+9=20=2. 1-2 = Sun-Moon, good for day-night operations.

Summary contrast:

  • Technopark = 1-3 = leadership + growth on hilly laterite = idea-driven.
  • SIPCOT = 8-1 = Saturn + Sun = infrastructure + scale, flat coastal = delivery-driven, export.

Technopark Trivandrum IT Park Vastu Case Study

Sunday, 18 October 2026 by Anand Soni

This is a fascinating site to read – Technopark is India’s first IT park and one of Asia’s largest, so every system sees it differently.

Here is a cross-system reading of Technopark, Trivandrum – Kazhakkoottam, 8.558179 N, 76.877273 E, established 28 July 1990 / inaugurated 1991, spread across 768.63 acres in five phases.

1. Vastu Shastra

Site shape & slope: The original Phase I campus is on a gently undulating laterite plateau that slopes naturally to the East and North-East towards the old Parvathy Puthanar canal / Arabian Sea. In Vastu, East / North-East slope = flow of wealth and knowledge. That’s considered highly auspicious for an IT / knowledge park.

Orientation: The main spine is along NH 66 which runs North-South, with primary entry from the East side of the highway. East-facing entrance = Surya-mukhi, good for a government-owned institution. The major buildings like Bhavani, Tejaswini are placed more to the South-West of their individual plots, leaving North and East more open – classic Vastu weightage.

Water: Technopark Phase III is named after rivers – Ganga, Yamuna – and is spread over 90.02 acres in Kulathoor. Naming water bodies and placing actual retention ponds in North-East is Vastu remediation for tech parks.

Remedy reading: The weak point is the highway cut on the West side (Varuna zone) bringing fast moving energy. Traditional remedy would be heavy planting / high compound on West and South-West to stabilize.

2. Feng Shui – Form School + Compass

Form: This is a textbook “Armchair” site. Back support (Black Tortoise) = Western Ghats / higher ground of Karyavattom. Front (Red Phoenix) = gradual fall towards the sea 4km west, with open view. Left Dragon = higher Karyavattom University ridge, Right Tiger = lower Kulathoor area – Dragon slightly higher than Tiger, which is ideal for growth.

Facing: Most Phase I buildings face East / South-East. In Flying Stars, period 7 (1984-2003) to period 8 (2004-2023) transition – the park was born in Period 7 and boomed in Period 8, which rewards North-East facing sites. Technopark’s natural North-East water exit aligns with Period 8 Sheng Qi.

Qi flow: NH 66 acts as a fast “Qi River”. The signal-controlled entry slows it – that’s a classic Feng Shui “Ming Tang” or bright hall gathering point.

3. Western Geomancy & Geodesy

Geodesy: Latitude 8.56N puts it near the equator, with very high telluric conductivity due to laterite + underlying charnockite gneiss of Kerala. Geodesic stress lines are low – no major seismic zone. This is considered a stable earth-grid zone.

Geomancy: In earth acupuncture, laterite sites are high in iron – strong magnetic field. Good for server farms and grounding, but can cause Geopathic stress at valley points (where Phase II Infosys 50 acres + UST 36 acres sit). The traditional European remedy is to place canteens / movement areas, not long-stay workstations, over the water-vein crossings near the Attipra valley.

4. Tiang Seri / Malay-Indonesian Spirit

In Peninsular Malay tradition that overlaps with Kerala’s ancient spice trade, a Tiang Seri is the mother tree / spirit of the land. Kazhakkoottam was cashew and coconut groves. The site still preserves large rain trees and banyans in Phase I. For Tiang Seri, you never clear the oldest tree at the center. Technopark retained that – the central park in Phase I acts as the Seri. Keeping water and offering lamps there is the appeasement.

5. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

Maharishi Vastu wants: Brahma Sutra East-West, entrance East, Brahmasthan (center) open and unbuilt, slope to East/North, and Sun in East.

Technopark scores 70%:

  • Good: East slope, overall rectangular mandala of Phase I, Phase II SEZ designated as 86 acres is separate mandala with its own Brahmasthan park.
  • Against principle: Brahmasthan of Phase I is occupied by roads and buildings due to organic growth, not kept as empty garden. Buildings are not all cardinally oriented. Sthapatya Veda remedy would be to create a true silent central courtyard and orient new buildings in Technocity exactly to cardinal East.

6. Bau-Biologie / Building Biology

German Bau-Biologie looks at EMF, air ions, materials.

  • Positives: 768 acres with 12.72 million sq ft built-up but still >60% green cover, ISO 14001 certified, sea breeze from West cleanses ions, laterite does not emit radon.
  • Stressors: NH 66 traffic noise + 80,000+ professionals = high electrosmog. High-tension corridors near Phase III need measurement. Bau-Biologie recommendation: earth-grounded workstations, wood / clay partitions, and sleeping / long-coding areas away from the highway edge.

7. Astrology – Mundane

Foundation chart: 28 July 1990. Sun in Cancer (Karkata) – Pushya nakshatra – government land, nurturing technology. Saturn in Capricorn (its own sign then) – long-lasting government infrastructure. That matches – still active after 35 years.

Trivandrum Sthala Purana: Anantha Shayana – Vishnu lying on serpent – place ruled by Ananta, good for knowledge that rests on infinity (IT). Jupiter’s transit over Meena / Pisces (coastal) favors it.

Muhurta for you: If you are setting up an office here, best direction for founder seat is East or North-East, with entry North-East.

8. Numerology

  • Name: Technopark Trivandrum =
    T(2)+E(5)+C(3)+H(8)+N(5)+O(6)+P(7)+A(1)+R(9)+K(2)=48 -> 12 -> 3 – Jupiter, growth, expansion.
  • Date 28: 2+8=10=1 – Sun, leadership, first park status – India’s First IT park holds that 1 energy.
  • 1990: 1+9+9+0=19=1+9=10=1 again – double Sun.
  • Coordinates 8.55 / 76.87: 8 = Saturn – land, long-term; 7+6+8+7=28=1 again.

So numerology shows 1-3 combination – leadership + expansion – very good for an IT SEZ that kept expanding to Phase II, III, Technocity.

Overall synthesis: All 8 systems agree the natural bowl sloping East to sea, with West as higher back, is fortunate. The challenge is man-made – highway Qi too fast, Brahmasthan built up, and electromagnetic load. Keep East and North-East open, heavy green on South-West/West, preserve old trees as Tiang Seri, and use central open courtyards as energetic lungs.

Raheja Mindspace IT Park Madhapur Hyderabad Vastu Case Study

Sunday, 18 October 2026 by Anand Soni

Raheja Mindspace IT Park – Multi-system reading

You have two main Mindspace parks, both by K Raheja Corp. The flagship is Madhapur, Hyderabad – 110 acres, 17.44N, 78.38E, the other is Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune – 18.58N, 73.74E. Both follow the same master-plan logic, so this reading applies to both, with Pune specifics noted.

I will read it through all 9 systems you asked for. This is not a site-visit, it’s based on published master plan, satellite orientation and topography.

1. Vastushastra (Indian)

Madhapur layout: Almost rectangular plot, with 60m road on West (HITEC City Main Road) and 36m road on South. Main entry from West.

  • Shape: Shudda rectangular / trapezoidal – good. 110 acres is divided into smaller rectangular blocks, which is Vastu-compliant for commercial.
  • Slope: Deccan plateau, Hyderabad campus slopes gently North-East. Vastu prescribes Ishanya (NE) low, Nairitya (SW) high. This slope is excellent – it drains water and energy to NE.
  • Water: Original APIIC plan had water bodies in NE. They have been maintained as landscaped ponds – supports Dhanam.
  • Orientation: Buildings are mostly East-facing or North-facing – ideal for IT. Workstations facing East/North increases Satva.
  • Brahmasthan: Central open area / central park left open with no heavy construction – perfect. Keeps energy circulating.
  • Dosha: West entry for a business park is not first choice (North/East preferred), but acceptable for commercial with heavy traffic. South-West has tall buildings (14 floors) which is correct – heavy mass in SW.

Verdict: 7.5/10 – Strong commercial Vastu, especially land slope and Brahmasthan.

For Pune Hinjewadi: Plot is on elevated ground, Mula-Mutha river basin is SE. Slope is towards East, which is good. However Mumbai-Bengaluru highway on West brings Vayu dosha – needs tall trees as buffer, which Raheja has planted.

2. Feng Shui (Chinese)

  • Form School: Back support (Black Tortoise) is higher land/buildings in SW. Front (Phoenix) is open West road with wide mouth of Chi – good for commercial. Left Dragon (East) is lower private properties, Right Tiger (West) is strong road – Dragon slightly weak, needs activation with green.
  • Facing: Hyderabad campus faces 270° West. In Flying Stars Period 8 (2004-2023) and Period 9 (2024-2043), West-facing with water in front can generate Wealth Star 8/9 at front.
  • Ming Tang: Very large bright hall – the central avenue and Raheja Mindspace Circle creates excellent accumulation of Chi before buildings.
  • Sha Chi: Straight wide roads hitting buildings create fast Sha – mitigated by curved internal roads and landscaping islands.

Feng Shui fix if you have office inside: Keep reception in NW or West, keep NE quiet and clean. Avoid desks with back to main window.

Verdict: Good for trading/business, not as good for creative R&D without wood element correction.

3. Geomancy (European / Arabic Ilm al-Raml)

In classical geomancy, flat, exposed Deccan rock is Earth element dominant. The 16 figures:

  • Site resonates with Populus (the crowd) and Fortuna Major – a place meant for large groups to gather and prosper. 110 acres with thousands working matches it.
  • No major fault lines crossing Madhapur, but Hyderabad sits on granite bedrock – good shielding. Pune Hinjewadi sits near tectonic junction of Western Ghats – more sensitive, needs grounding.
  • The crossroads of Hitech City creates a geomantic “meeting” – excellent for business but can scatter energy. The internal roundabouts act as energy seals.

4. Geodesy / Sacred Geodesy

  • Hyderabad 17.44N is close to 17.5N energetic latitude band shared with many ancient Deccan temples.
  • Both parks lie on Deccan Traps – basaltic, high iron content. Magnetic declination ~1°W, minimal compass distortion.
  • No major ley line intersection recorded, but Madhapur is on same longitudinal line as Warangal Fort (~78.3E) – an old geodetic alignment for trade routes.

Bauhaus geodesy reading: No geopathic stress grids (Hartmann/Curry) published for site, but dense IT equipment creates strong technopathic stress – needs mitigation.

5. Tiang Seri / Ilmu Saka (Malay Archipelago)

  • Looks for presence of penunggu – old trees. Hyderabad site was barren land allotted by APIIC in 2004, no old banyan/peepal kept. So kosong – empty, neutral. Good – no need for semah.
  • Air flow: Tiang Seri wants angin lalu – cross ventilation. Pune Hinjewadi gets strong Western Ghats wind from West – excellent. Hyderabad is more still – needs water features to move angin.
  • Entrance should not directly face junction (simpang tiga). Main West gate faces straight road – in Malay belief, this brings angin jahat. Trees planted as penghadang – Raheja did that.

6. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda (Vedic Architecture)

Very strict: Building must face true East, with Brahmastan empty, and 1:1 proportion.

  • Fail on cardinal orientation: Most Mindspace buildings are rotated 10-15° off true East to follow road grid. MSV requires 0°/90°.
  • Pass on Brahmastan: Central garden kept empty.
  • Pass on proportion: Individual towers like Building 12A are close to MSV proportions.
  • Sun: East light enters but not symmetrical.

Maharishi would rate this as Rajasik commercial – productive but not consciousness-raising. For a Sthapatya office, choose a cabin facing due East, with head East while working.

7. Bau-Biologie (German Building Biology)

  • EMF: High-voltage corridors avoided, but dense WiFi / server load in SEZ = very high electrosmog. IBE guidelines: <0.1 µW/m2 for sleeping, but IT parks are >1000 µW/m2. Not for long stay without breaks.
  • Materials: Modern glass-steel with low VOC paints – good. K Raheja uses IGBC Gold buildings (Building 9, 10 Hyderabad are LEED Platinum). Natural ventilation limited due to central AC – Bau-Biologie prefers breathable.
  • Geology: Granite base – low radon for Hyderabad. Pune Hinjewadi – basalt, also low.
  • Noise / Light: Traffic noise from West >65dB, needs acoustic glass. Light pollution high.

Bau-Biologie advice: If you work here, use wired LAN not WiFi, keep plants (Areca, Money Plant) and take grounding breaks in central park.

8. Astrology (Muhurta / Mundane)

  • Hyderabad Mindspace Bhoomi Pujan: 2004, joint venture year. Shani in Karka, Guru in Kanya that year – foundation in Shani period gives slow, stable, long-term growth (it has lasted 20+ years).
  • Pune Hinjewadi Phase 2 launch: 2016-17, Shani in Vrishchika – again Shani base.
  • For IT businesses: Kanya (Virgo) and Mithuna (Gemini) – Mercury dominated is excellent for IT. The park’s West-facing main gate falls in Shani’s direction (West) – good for large corporations, service industry.
  • Best nakshatra for signing lease here: Hasta, Chitra, Swati (all in Kanya/Tula).

9. Numerology

  • RAHEJA MINDSPACE: R(9)+A(1)+H(8)+E(5)+J(1)+A(1) = 25 -> 7 | MINDSPACE 4+9+5+4+1+7+1+3+5 = 39 -> 3 | Total 64 -> 1 = Sun – leadership. Good for corporate HQ.
  • Building numbers: Building 12A -> 1+2+1=4 (Rahu – tech, foreign), Building 9 -> 9 (Mars – energy). Most successful buildings in campus are 9, 10, 12A – 9 and 1 series are lucky for IT.
  • Pincode 500081: 5+0+0+0+8+1=14->5 (Mercury – communication) – perfect for IT park. Pune 411057 -> 18->9 (Mars – construction growth).

Summary Recommendation

If you are taking office here:

Best zones: North-East blocks for R&D and finance, South-East for servers/kitchen (Agni), South-West for leadership cabins (heavy).

Avoid: Desks directly under beam, facing South, or with back to main door.

Universal fixes across all systems:

  1. Keep NE light and open, place water fountain there
  2. Heavy storage / HR in SW
  3. Add tall green buffer on West road side – works for Vastu, Feng Shui and Bau-Biologie
  4. Use East/North facing seats for staff

HITEC City Hyderabad Vastu Case Study

Friday, 16 October 2026 by Anand Soni

HITEC City is a great test case for all these systems because it is so deliberately planned and so new.

The Ground Facts: 151 acres across Madhapur / Gachibowli / Kondapur / Manikonda, centered on 17°26’30″N 78°22’58″E. Foundation: 22 November 1998 by PM Vajpayee. First landmark Cyber Towers – 10 floors, cylindrical, divided into 4 quadrants with a large fountain in the middle.

Now reading that ground through 9 lenses:

1. Vastu Shastra

West Hyderabad is Deccan granite plateau – naturally hard, stable land. In Vastu this is Shilaa Bhumi – good for heavy, permanent commercial structures.

  • Orientation: The core grid is roughly North-South / East-West with main HITEC City Road feeding from the East. East and North-East as entry is classically auspicious for knowledge work – morning sun, prevailing SW monsoon wind gets filtered.
  • Center (Brahmasthan): Cyber Towers with fountain is treated as Brahmasthan of the whole district. Water in center is a Vastu compromise – water ideally NE, but here it acts as energy diffuser for the 4 quadrants.
  • Challenge: Vastu purists point out the cutting roads, T-junctions, and high-rises blocking North-East light for smaller plots, plus no natural water body in NE. Modern rectifications done inside offices are yantra, NE water features, lighter colors in SW.

2. Feng Shui – Form School

  • Armchair formation: North has higher ground towards Kukatpally / Shilparamam rocks as Black Tortoise support, South slopes gently toward Gachibowli valley as Vermilion Bird – open but not too open. West (White Tiger) is denser with residential Kondapur.
  • Ming Tang (Bright Hall): The large open plaza in front of Cyber Towers + Cyber Gateway is good Ming Tang – Chi can collect before entering.
  • Chi flow: Very Yang – 6-8 lane roads, fast traffic = rushing Chi / Sha Chi. The fountain in center and the staggered towers are used to slow it. Buildings with full glass facades leak Chi, so many offices use solid backing and plants in lobby to hold it.
  • Water: Durgam Cheruvu lake SE of HITEC City is the nearest natural water – in Flying Stars, SE water supports wealth in period 8/9, which aligns with its growth.

3. Geomancy – Western / Arabic Khatt al Raml

If you cast a geomantic shield for the foundation date, the earth is “hard, dry, pitta” – good for fixed commercial geomantic figures like Fortuna Major and Acquisitio – gain through stability. Ley-line readings popular in the area trace the Hyderabad granite fault line running NW-SE under Madhapur; Cyber Towers sits almost on a crossing. Geomancers would say it needs grounding – hence heavy stone base, less basement void.

4. Geodesy

This is the non-mystical one.

  • Elevation: ~536m ASL on Archean gneiss. Very low seismic zone II. Excellent bearing capacity, low liquefaction risk – why you can build tall without deep piling like in Cyberabad.
  • Geodetic center: 78.38E is close to Indian Standard Time meridian 82.5E, so solar noon is only ~17 mins behind clock noon – good daylight utilization for offices.
  • No magnetic anomaly. So Bau-Biologie measurements are less about telluric currents and more about man-made fields.

5. Tiang Seri / Malay-Indonesian Geomancy

HITEC City has no old-growth forest, no tiang seri (Pohon Penunggu). The original scrub was cleared in 1997-98. In this tradition, that means no semangat of a grandfather tree to appease, but also no natural guardian. Old contractors still recall sembahyang tapak rituals before breaking ground. Modern offices re-introduce it with deliberate pokok peneduh – neem, peepal at NW corners, and small spirit houses near Durgam Cheruvu are maintained by local staff. Not a haunted site, but considered “panas” – hot, active – needs cooling elements.

6. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

  • Cardinal orientation: Cyber Towers is almost perfectly cardinal, facing East – strongly favored. The 4-quadrant division matches Chatur-mukha – building open to 4 directions.
  • Brahmasthan: The fountain is a flaw in pure Sthapatya Veda – Brahmasthan should be empty and sunlit, not water-covered. Many newer buildings in HITEC City like TCS Deccan Park corrected this with open courtyards.
  • Proportion: The original Vastu Purusha Mandala of 10 stories is borderline – 10 is complete, but cylinder shape is not recommended; square with central courtyard is ideal. Hence later SEZ buildings moved back to rectilinear.

7. Bau-Biologie / Building Biology

On paper this is a high-stress zone:

  • EMF: Dense base stations, high-tension corridor from Hitech feeder, 24/7 server rooms. Measured E-field in some towers exceeds 10 V/m at desk level if not shielded.
  • Materials: Early buildings: granite + concrete + glass + PVC + full AC – low breathability, high VOCs initially. Newer LEED Platinum buildings (like Mindspace) use low-VOC, earth-plaster concepts, radiant cooling, better daylight autonomy >60%.
  • Prescription: Grounding mats, green walls, circadian lighting, decoupling of workstations from lift shafts, and biophilic courtyards. This is where HITEC City is actually improving fastest.

8. Astrology – Mundane

Foundation chart for 22 Nov 1998, Hyderabad: Scorpio season, Sun in Scorpio, Moon often cited in late Aries that day. In mundane astrology:

  • Scorpio ascendant area for India: IT, secrets, engineering, transformation – fits IT district.
  • Saturn: In Aries then – neecha / debilitated, but work through grit and infrastructure – typical for Deccan projects that had to blast rock.
  • Old Hyderabad vs New: Charminar core is more Cancer / heritage, HITEC is Mercury-dominant: communication, commerce, Virgo-like precision. Rahu association with technology and foreign investment is repeatedly invoked locally.

Not predictive for individuals – offices just use it to choose opening muhurats, usually Pushya, Ashwini, or Dhanishtha nakshatra.

9. Numerology

  • HITEC CITY = In Chaldean: H(5)+I(1)+T(4)+E(5)+C(3)+ C(3)+I(1)+T(4)+Y(1)=27 = 9 (Mars). 27 itself is called “Sceptre” – promise of authority if self-control.
  • Cyber Towers = Roughly 38 = 11/2 – Master number for infrastructure that connects.
  • 22/11/1998 = Life path 22+11+1998 = 2031 = 6 – Venus, luxury, workspaces, balance. Day 22 is Master Builder – very popular in numerology for large townships.

Synthesis: Every system agrees on one thing – HITEC City is on hard, stable, slightly high ground with excellent East light, but with too much Yang / Rajas energy: speed, glass, concrete, EMF. If you were designing an office there and wanted to respect all nine without going overboard: Keep East/North-East open and light, keep a real empty center or courtyard, keep water feature in NE not center, add heavy mass or stone in SW, break wind/Chi with trees not walls, shield EMF with distance + wired networking, and use breathable, low-VOC materials.
