It’s 2.5km from Pune Airport, in the flat Deccan plateau bowl, Mula-Mutha river system is 2.7km south. Here is a multi-system reading — these are traditional interpretive systems, not engineering advice.
1. Vastu Shastra
Core principle: orient to cardinal directions, Pancha Bhoota balance, Brahmasthan open.
- Location & Shape: Park sits on relatively flat, rectangle plot on Nagar Road ~0.4km off main road. Flat = stable Kapha, good for commercial.
- Facing: Main gate towards Nagar Road is Ishan-Kona to East-North-East. In Vastu, NE / East facing is considered Uttam for business — morning sun, wealth flow.
- Strengths: East side is Nagar Road — open, low, constant movement = positive Prana. West side has heavier city fabric. This matches Vastu rule: East light, West heavy.
- Watch: Viman Nagar has Viman Nagar Nala cutting nearby, and the plot is lower than Nagar Road in monsoon. Vastu calls South-West water logging as Nairutya dosha. Ensure SW blocks are heavier / taller and drains flow to NE.
- Internal tip if you work there: Sit facing East or North. Keep NE corner of your cabin empty/light. Put server / heavy storage in SW.
2. Feng Shui (Form & Compass School)
- Form: The site is “Armchair” in reverse: road in front as Ming Tang (Bright Hall), buildings behind. Good, but Nagar Road is fast Yang — needs a buffer. The complex has a set-back and hotel in front, which acts as a buffer — good.
- Compass: At 18.5°N, Flying Star Period 9 (2024-2044). NE facing building in Period 9 is facing 45-60° — double facing star combination can be good for commerce if water in front. Water feature at Hyatt entrance helps activate.
- Qi flow: Multiple blocks create wind tunnels — Sha Qi. Landscaping between Block C and D is important to slow Qi.
3. Geomancy (Western & Arabic)
- Spirit of place: Historically this was former Weikfield agro-industrial estate (food processing). Geomancy reads that as Taurus/Venus land — fertile, food-producing turned into mind-producing (IT). Transition is auspicious: earth to air.
- Divination reading: Geomantically, a rectangular IT park on a trade route (Pune-Ahmednagar highway) is Via — the Road — success through movement and communication. Perfect for IT.
4. Geodesy / Sacred Geodesy
- Latitude: 18.56°N is close to 19.47°N, the ancient Ujjain latitude used in Indian geodesy as prime meridian. Pune is traditionally calculated from Ujjain.
- Topography: Pune saucer-shaped with hills on all sides. Viman Nagar is in the saucer bottom, not on hill edge — geodetically stable, less shear stress. No known fault line under the park. Good for long-term data centers.
- EMF: Near airport radar (2.5km) + high-tension corridor on Nagar Road = geopathic stress markers in Bau-biologie. Floors 4+ are less affected.
5. Tiang Seri / Malay Feng Shui
- Malay system looks for Seri — life-force — where tall trees, water, and earth meet.
- Weikfield site has few old Banyan trees preserved inside (unlike Kharadi IT parks). That is Seri. The Mula river is 2-3 km south, acting as the “Ular” — serpent water behind. Good, but you need small internal water (fountain) in SE to balance.
- Entrance should not face directly at T-junction. Block D entrance is slightly skewed — this is intentional in Tiang Seri to avoid “Tusukan”.
6. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda
- Strictest Vedic system: building should face exactly East, Brahmasthan (center) open, no building in SW of plot.
- Weikfield Citi is not pure Sthapatya — blocks are angled to road, not true East, and have central atriums that are closed. Maharishi system would say Pranic flow is fragmented.
- Remedy in this system: Keep central courtyard clean, install kalash on NE roof, work facing East. Avoid SW corner cabins if possible.
7. Bau-Biologie (German Building Biology)
- Modern health lens: Looks at materials, air, electrosmog, light.
- Positives: Newer Blocks C/D are LEED-ish, good daylight, cross ventilation.
- Negatives: Nagar Road traffic = PM2.5, noise >65dB. Very Expensive price level often means sealed glass facade = VOC buildup. Low-E glass helps heat but reduces negative ions.
- Advice: If you lease here, measure CO2 after 2pm, use plants (Areca palm, not succulents), and avoid basement seating — Radon is low in Deccan trap but ground-floor dampness is real.
8. Astrology (Muhurta / Sthana)
- Pune chart: 18°31’N 73°51’E is historically seen as under Kanya (Virgo) in Jaimini — analytical, IT, service. Viman Nagar name itself (Air City) = Vayu Tattva.
- Park’s nakshatra: Site at 18.56N sits in Bharani Pada — Yamadeva — transformation from old industry to knowledge. Good for tech product companies, less for pure speculative trading.
- Muhurta if moving in: For IT, Buddh (Mercury) hora, Pushya, Anuradha, Dhanishtha nakshatra, Tuesday/ Wednesday opening is traditionally preferred. Avoid Rahu Kalam on Nagar Road (heavy traffic = Rahu).
9. Numerology
- Address numerology: 411014 = 4+1+1+0+1+4=11=2. 2 is Moon — collaboration, client services. Suits IT services, BPO, hospitality (Hyatt).
- Name: WEIKFIELD = W(5)+E(5)+I(9)+K(2)+F(6)+I(9)+E(5)+L(3)+D(4)=43=7. 7 is Ketu/research, analysis. IT Citi Info Park = 7+? Combined 43+? = Again 7. Double Ketu = deep tech, R&D, not mass retail.
- Tower C: Most occupied, houses WNS etc. Letter C=3 Jupiter — growth.
Practical synthesis for you
If you’re evaluating a office / investment there:
Best per all systems: Block C or D, 3rd-5th floor, cabin facing NE/East, with open view to Nagar Road, away from direct road noise. Keep NE light.
Avoid / remedy: Ground floor SW corner units (water + traffic + afternoon heat). If you have to take it, use heavy partition in SW, light colors in NE, and a small water fountain in North.
